$125 voucher available for hearing impaired phone purchase

If you have a hearing loss, you may be eligible for a voucher of $125 from the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin—Universal Service Fund which may be applied toward the purchase of a phone for the hearing impaired. You can access the application by visiting their website. You would need to submit an application and then wait a few weeks for the voucher to arrive in the mail. Then, simply follow the instructions. There will be a list of places that you can go to purchase your telephone. I recommend the Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CDHH) on National Avenue in West Allis, WI. Obviously, this information is for Wisconsin residents. If you live in another state, similar programs are probably available to you. You could find them by contacting an audiologist in your area.
