Hearing aid tip!: Humid weather and your hearing aid

August can be a humid month. Please remember to keep your hearing aids as dry as possible. If you are going to be working out in the yard and perspiring due to the heat, it is probably a good idea to leave your hearing aids in a safe place indoors. If you notice corrosion in your battery compartment, that is a sign that you may have done some damage to the hearing aid. Another common thing that happens with moisture damage is your hearing aid will work intermittently. Please call the office for an appointment if you think you have moisture problems and we can discuss your options for hearing aid drying kits.
