Guard against potential hearing loss from listening to MP3 players

There have been many recent articles published about the potential for hearing loss from listening to an iPod or other MP3 players. The rule of thumb for safe listening is setting the volume control at 80% for 90 minutes or less over a 24-hour period. If you listen at louder volume levels, then you cannot listen for as long as 90 minutes OR if you listen at softer volume levels, you could listen for longer than 90 minutes. There is a new product, called iHearSafe, that will limit the volume from your listening device so it will always be at a safe level.
